The Irish Youth Choir is delighted to announce that it will have joint rehearsals and performances with the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland for its summer course in 2010.

This is the first time that the two organisations have worked together and the wide ranging programme will include Brahms Requiem. The joint courses will mark the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the NYOI and will be the 29th anniversary of IYC. The courses will begin on Friday 25th June and concerts will take place in Bantry on Friday 2nd July, Wexford on Saturday 3rd July and in Dublin on Sunday 4th July.

Auditions will be taking place on the following dates:
Cork: Friday 12 March (from 6pm), Saturday 20 March (from 11 am)
Dublin: Saturday 20 March (from 10 am)
Galway: Tuesday 9 March (from 7pm)
Kilkenny: Wednesday 10 March (from 7pm)
Limerick: Thursday 11 March (from 7pm)
Waterford: Wednesday 10 March (from 6pm)
