'Carols for All' on 20th December at 3pm in UCH Limerick
AOIC and Limerick's University Concert Hall presented its first ‘Carols for All’ on Sunday 20th December at 3.00pm to a packed concert hall.
Over 800 people started their Christmases on a high note, joining the famous Band of the Southern Command, the newly formed Irish Chamber Orchestra Chorus and the Minister for Defence, Willie O'Dea, for a truly wondrous start to Christmas!
Micheal O’Suilleabhain of the Irish World Academy of Music & Dance was on stage to perform his own, unique version of the Wexfrod Carol. Also joining in the great festive fun on the day were the Widow Twanky from this CentreStage’s Aladdin at LIT Millennium Theatre and, of course, Santa!
A highlight of the Carols for All concert was the performance of Away in a Manger and Silent Night by all of the children in the audience.
We're looking forward to next year's Carols for All already
