Limerick Choral Union

The Limerick Choral Union is a mixed voice choir under musical director Malcolm Green.  Since its establishment in 1964, the choir has been contributing to the musical life of the Mid-west region, by regularly performing large works with an orchestra in Limerick’s University Concert Hall. Rehearsal night is Wednesday, in Limerick city, from 8-10pm and new members are welcome to join in September or January. An ability to read music is not a requirement, but you should be able to “hold a note”.

Sliabh Féilim Singers

Sliabh Féilim Singers, Cappamore, Co. Limerick (founded 1978) is a 4-part choir who rehearse in the Convent School, Cappamore, every Tuesday, 8.30-10.00pm, with conductor Mary Teresa Ryan.  We perform charity concerts in Abington Church, Murroe - June for mid-summer and early-December for Christmas - and sing at local celebratory and charity events.  Our repertoire is varied - liturgical to contemporary to fun-loving!  CDs were recorded for our 25th Anniversary, Christmas and in conjunction with the local historical society (songs written mainly by locals about East Limerick).  We always welcome new members - just come along any Tuesday evening.
