Cantaloupe is a mixed voice choir formed by composer Boris Nicholson in 2006 that rehearses every Thursday night at St James’ Church, Dingle, 8-10pm. Cantaloupe sings Boris' compositions and standard works from the choral repertoire. The last half-hour is reserved for vocal group improvisation work. Cantaloupe performs regularly in churches and local venues, and next spring will hopefully sing in the churches along the Santiago trail in northern Spain. New members are welcome, especially tenors, and sightreading is not necessary.

Cór Naomh Muire

Cór Naomh Muire is a long established  mixed - voice choir. Our repertoire includes both modern and traditional in Irish and English and modern and classical secular pieces to perform at local concerts.  The choir sings  on Sundays at 11.30a.m. mass throughout the year (except the month of January). We’re regularly involved in broadcast Masses in both RTE 1 and Raidio na Gaeltachta. We practise on Tuesdays  8.15  -9.30 pm  Feb to May  and Sept. to Dec.  A Céad Míle Fáilte awaits new members. Ability to read music is not a requirement.

Kerry Choral Union

Kerry Choral Union, now in its 30th year, is probably the largest mixed voice choir in Kerry with around 80 members. It performs regularly throughout the county with the occasional foray into neighbouring Cork and Limerick and undertakes foreign tours at regular intervals. Under the experienced baton of Sharon Reidy the choir has an extensive repertoire ranging from oratoria and sacred songs to present day modern classics. It rehearses every Wednesday between 7.30 and 10.00 p.m. from September to June and new members are always welcome. The ability to sight read is not essential, but to sing in tune is!
