IYC new Conductor in Training announced
Sinéad Dempsey (BA Mus PgDip MTPP) studied music at the Waterford Institute of Technology and is now a member of staff in the W.I.T Music School where she directs two of the choirs in their Choral Programme and teaches piano and musicianship also. She is highly involved in choral music in Waterford – she sings in Ad Hoc Chorale and Voci and accompanies the Waterford Male Voice Choir and the W.I.T Youth Choir in addition to directing the Waterford Larks and the W.I.T Children’s Choir! As a past member of the Irish Youth Choir, Sinéad is delighted to be offered this opportunity to work with and learn from both the directors and members of IYC and NCC.
