Navan Male Voice Choir
Founded in 1979, Navan Male Voice Choir is conducted by Richard Brady. The choir rehearses on Tuesday nights from 20.30- 22.00, in the Active retirement centre at rear of the community centre in Navan. The choir has enjoyed a very successful career to date. Participating in festivals, TV appearances, trips abroad, fund raising concerts and events, and is also resident church choir at St Oliver’s. New members of all ages are welcome to join the choir, an ability to sight read is not a requirement. The choir’s repertoire includes a wide variety of tastes from Sacred to Popular music. Our motto is ‘to sing for pleasure’.

Tara Ladies Choir
Tara Ladies Choir is a female voice choir established in the 1990s. They rehearse on Wednesday evenings in Navan, from 8.30pm to 10pm. Performances in Choral Festivals as well as performances in the local community have raised their profile, and they are proud of their recent achievements, including winning awards at the Navan Choral Festival for the ‘Female Choir Section’ in 2011 and ‘Choir of the Year’ in 2008. The choir enjoy the opportunity for social interaction and participating in the community as well as singing together. We have members of all ages, from 25 to 75, and enjoy performing at a range of performances, from choral competition to carol singing, from local charity gigs to mass services. Our repertoire is varied, and includes popular, classical, jazz, religious, traditional and modern.
