Kildare AOIC Members
Nás na Rí Singers
The Nás na Rí Singers is a mixed voice choir established in 1972 in Naas, Co. Kildare. This 70-strong group is conducted by Alan Kelly, who joined the Singers in 2008. The choir’s current repertoire consists of short popular choral pieces and many choral works including Handel’s Messiah, Karl Jenkins’ The Armed Man and Bach’s Magnificat in D Major. Rehearsals are held every Thursday from 8 – 10 pm in the Care of the Aged Centre, Naas. New members are welcome to join. There is a waiting list for female singers at present. Ability to sight read is not a requirement but an advantage.
