Córmíosa

Córmíosa was established in 2002 under the Musical Direction of Marian Gaynor. It is a community-based choir in the Carlow area, created to provide an opportunity for singers to enjoy a challenging and rewarding musical experience. Córmíosa aims to provide a wide repertoire of choral music: some of our favourite composers in the last year were Eva Cassidy, Karl Jenkins, Billy Joel, Michael Mc Glynn, Mozart and Queen. It is a non-auditioned group of mixed adult singers. The combination of small size, artistic excellence, performance versatility and a unique repertoire creates the distinct composition of Córmíosa. Córmíosa meets every Tuesday night at 8.00pm and takes part in a variety of events throughout the Carlow area and beyond. Those interested in shouldlog onto Córmíosa’s Facebook page to find out more .
