Sight Singing classes resuming Spring 2012

We will be updating the website after Christmas with final details for the Spring Sight Singing classes beginning the 28th January.

Singers of all sight-singing abilities will be accommodated in a number of classes offering tuition at three levels. An additional class may be offered at each level, subject to demand:

Topics covered will include: 
·     development of musicianship skills 
·     use of solfa in sight reading
·     rhythm exercises
·     understanding notation 
·     becoming aurally aware

Tuition will be offered at at least 3 levels: 
Level 1 - Beginner   
For absolute beginners with no prior knowledge of theory of music.
 
Level 2 - Intermediate   
For those with limited knowledge of the rudiments of theory of music. 
 
Level 3 -Advanced   
For those who have studied theory of music to some degree, and wish to further their understanding.
